Futuristic sounds born from the industrial landscapes of Detroit, though no tracks in the play list are by any means intended to be iconic landmarks overall,I believe they give the listener a segway into the early sound and feel of this new genre which became prominent in the mid eighties, and shaped dance floors both sides of the Atlantic
early pioneers such as juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, and Reese, amongst many others took the sounds of Europe et al karftwerk and stripped down the sound into patterns and rhythmic percussion and hi hat snare to make a new dance floor friendly disco for the future.though there intention to soundtrack the landscapes of the deepening rot of old Detroit there music caught attention in the stagnating disco’s and party’s of Detroit the rest is history as they say, born from now more affordable tech kit for bedroom mixers and producers there sound is now the blue print for endless recreations and homage, when I first got my hands on a copy of techno the underground sound of Detroit in 1988 its sounds and feel paved the way for my future listening and also influenced countless others
I hope you enjoy dancing relaxing or whatever !

Funny how we call this “tech house” as opposed to “Techno,” here in Europe.
Think you mean segue, not segway, btw
Great tunes by the way. Love Fury Phreaks (Furry Phreaks)
