Hip-hop and hipsters. Cosmology and classic. It's featured playlists time...

Bad Boy Records - The Samples

He ain't going nowhere. He ain't – going nowhere. He can't be stopped now. He's makes samples playlists that you need in your life. Bad Boy Records get the agent3613 treatment, here, as he compiles the greatest hits released on Diddy's label and the tracks from which they took their hooks.

Hipster's Guide to Country Music

SMP user Victoria Locke is one of our premier purveyors of hipster-themed playlists. Tired of "card-carrying hipsters" claiming they "hate country music”, Locke has created a mixtape full of honky tonk, hillbilly, rockabilly, Western swing, roots rock, alt-country, folk, bluegrass and beyond to convince them otherwise.

Curiosity: Songs About Mars, Space, and Stuff

Being science geeks, we love this playlist created by roboticbears. And, yes, we also love it because it's full of good music. But we love it most of all because of its description: "It's not often that I get to create a playlist that features Spice Girls, Misfits, and The Backyardigans while remaining thematically consistent. Thanks, NASA."

The Greatest Classical Music Ever! Composers

Next up, another cracking EMI Music US creation, a playlist featuring 50 works by some the greatest classical composers of all-time, including Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, and Vivaldi. A must-hear mixtape for classical connoisseurs and novices alike.   Bravo.

Long live the mixtape!
