German rapper the Bo has created this playlist full of summer songs. It's an eclectic mix, featuring everyone from the Beach Boys, James Brown and Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong, to the Beastie Boys, Madonna and Justin Timberlake. Superb sunshine sounds.  

Reggae Jamaica's 50th

Jamaica is celebrating 50 years of independence, this month. SMP user dodger is marking the occasion with this incredible collection of tunes – Derrick Morgan, Count Lasher, Prince Buster, Desmond Dekker & The Aces, Bob Marley & The Wailers ...  the list goes on.

Another playlist of the week comes courtesy of SMP's bassman, syknyk. Olympics London 2012 - Closing Ceremony

There was a big reation to the Olympics London 2012 - Opening Ceremony playlist over the past few days. Playlist creators soundofus.com have now uploaded the Closing Ceremony playlistKim Gavin, who directed the Diana memorial concert in 2007, is creative director of a closing ceremony which features everyone from Take That and Tinie Tempah, to the Kinks and Queen.
