NME.com called our service “Genius” and we’re the biggest and fastest growing site operating in the Spotify ecosphere. Everybody from Alicia Keys to Robbie Williams and the Gorillaz have contributed their playlists to the site and we collaborate with all the major UK record labels including Warner Music, Universal and EMI.
Salary
£26-28k including bonus
The Position
Well funded and growing quickly, ShareMyPlaylists is looking for a talented, motivated and dedicated Senior Developer to join our team at its Sunderland office. Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, we are looking for a senior developer with the following experience:
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 2 years PHP programming
• Strong knowledge of a PHP framework such as Symfony
• Good Javascript/AJAX knowledge
• Track record with consumer web applications with good usability an advantage
• Working knowledge of the Web, Internet and networking technologies
• Excellent knowledge of the Web, Internet and networking technologies
• Competence with SDLC methods
• Capable of understanding OO models as requirements descriptions
• Good knowledge of OO models as requirements descriptions
• Experience of WordPress is an advantage but not required
• Competence with defect tracking software and change management processes
• Ability to meet attendance standards and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and colleagues
• Able to use software design tools
• Ability to manage own workflow and meet agreed deadlines
• Ability to exchange information with others clearly and concisely
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team
• Ability to work without close supervision
