Goffin and King are a song writing partnership consisting of Carole King, born 9 February 1942 and Gerry Goffin, born 11 February 1939. Working out of the Brill Building, in New York City in the early 1960s, they co-wrote 25 songs that charted with four #1 singles and 11 top-ten hits.

  • Very neat idea, this. Of the contemporary artists, to my ears The Noisettes have a great skill for evoking those classic 60's melody & arrangement flourishes without sounding remotely retro. Great stuff!
