Dennis Bovell
is Britain's reggae maestro. He has been working as a musician, producer, writer, and arranger on countless reggae, punk, pop and rock albums. His production credits range from artists such as Fela Kuti to The Pop Group and Bananarama. His dub albums were an inspiration to the likes of Adrian Sherwood and Mad Professor. And his band Matumbi, which he founded in 1971 was the pioneering reggae group of England.
