Vadoinmessico are a five piece international band formed in London in 2007. The band consists of Giorgio Poti (Italy), Salvador Garza (Mexico), Stefan Miksch (Austria), Alessandro Marrosu (Italy) and Joe White (UK). The sound of the band is highly influenced by its international essence, which makes it difficult to label it under one genre, even though their music is often categorized as freak folk. In the early days Vadoinmessico gained support from American radio NPR's Bob Boilen during SXSW music festival 2010, and more recently recorded live at BBC Maida Vale Studios for BBC Radio1's Huw Stephens. ...show more

They were named "prime ambassadors" at Eurosonic festival 2012 by Dutch national radio 3Voor12. Their first full length album Archaeology Of The Future was released in Europe in March 2012 through PIAS/Outcaste and received critical acclaim. They currently reside in London.. ...show less
