Parachute is a five-member pop band hailing from Charlottesville, Virginia, currently signed to Mercury Records. According to Songfacts, the Pop/Rock act began as Sparky's Flaw whilst a four piece at high school and after Nate McFarland joined the band once they'd gone on to college, the quintet changed their name to Parachute.
