Nothink have three albums "Bipolar age" (2005), "Spotlights" (2007) and "Hidden State" (2010), they melded loud guitars with pretty melodies and mixed punk sensibilities with a sharp sense of pop songwriting. The band was born in 1998 in Madrid, where Juan and Alex started playing in a small garage at the age of 15 with a clear influence of punk-rock, playing covers of their favourite band, after several line-up changes, Miguel joins the band in December 2003 as a drummer. Being chosen as the "best national Rock album" and "best live band" in 2007 by Rockzone (former Rock Sound) magazine, they shared the cover with Scottish band Biffy Clyro, officialy placing NOTHINK as one of the most fit bands in the actual scene. The album was recorded in Ultramarinos Costa Brava Studios by Santi Garcia, and involved special colaborations from Ramon Rodriguez (Madee), Dani Llamas (Gas Drummers) and orquestration by the Kiev Philarmonic orquesta. "Spotlights" comes after "Bipolar Age" (aloud Music 2005), NOTHINK's first album. "Bipolar Age" had a great response, and most of the media placed NOTHINK as the new sensation and a very promising band.
Nothink performed as a guest band for the latest Beatsteaks spanish tour and have also played in some important rock festivals like Electric Weekend and Festimad. Behind their backs are thousands of kilometers on the road and hundreds of gigs; sharing stage with bands such as Queens of the stone age, Millencolin, Brant Bjork and the bross, Engine down, Hell is for Heroes... Something intresting in Nothink“s music is the fact that they have never followed a determined style, sharing intensity and powerfull guitar-oriented sound but without ever forgeting the melody.
