Nordic Giants, a two-piece experimental outfit based in Brighton have created a unique concept - combining the visual story telling of a cinema experience, with the raw energy of a live gig. The band recently teamed up with SHORTS TV, who offers the latest Oscar winners and best emerging short films from around the globe. This provides a beautiful cinematic backdrop, to which the band perform live original soundtracks, perfectly linked with the films. Performing mainly instrumental music, the band have collaborated with other Independent Artists - recording and filming them to use in both a live situation and music release. However, these guest vocalists do not perform live in-person, but appear on a custom build T.V screen positioned at the front of the stage, creating a twist on the traditional band set-up, but also adding another unique visual element -which sets this band apart from the rest. Nordic Giants are currently preparing for the release their debut EP A Tree As Old As Me. Independently produced by the band, this four track CD offers a blend of organic instruments and experimental loops, mixed with epic builds and huge moments of power.
