Mono/Poly (born Charles Dickerson) is a Los Angeles based multi-genre music producer known for his distinct madness of face melting bass, paired with his astral soundscapes of glitch-based hip-hop. His music alias is taken from the 1980s Korg keyboard and symbolizes the artist's multifaceted audio productions. In the fall of 2009, Mono/Poly released his debut album The George Machine (EP) on Faces Records. Following a year later in the spring of 2010, his first full-length solo album, Paramatma (Tasteful Licks) was released. Paramatma is an elemental journey mixed of dub-step beats, astral soundscapes, Eastern philosophy, Metaphysics, and politics. In 2011, Mono/Poly joined the record label Brainfeeder and made a strong debut with his Manifestations EP. The album has seven tracks, each belonging to its own tone, and continues to receive heavy rotation by the likes of Radiohead, Erykah Badu and Jay Scarlett at BBC Radio's 1XTRA.
