2) Love Potion began as two down to earth and sexy young ladies, Rachel and Helen. Their music was based on a broad spectrum of styles, a rich mixture of classical influences and pure 80's pop. Their first single, written and produced by Rachel was called "Come on come on". Based on their teenage experiences, the song described their sexy, confident personalities.

The girls started rehearsing in their own home studio using high tech equipment and working towards creating their own unique sound. It was with sheer delight that the girls received positive feedback from WEA London Records, asking for new material. Rachel wrote and produced two new singles titled "Around me" and "Touch me".
