Guns, and Bang Tango, lead singer Christian and guitarist Skyla Talon played in the band Suicide Circus in the mid 1990's. After moving out to L.A. at different times, and after being a part of different projects, they lacked that chemistry that they had before, and Killingbird came into play. Said Christian about their first gig: "The place is closed now, but it was at the Coconut Teazer.
