Joshua Neil Farro (born September 29, 1987) is an American rock guitarist and songwriter, and the lead guitarist of the band Novel American. He is best known as the former lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the alternative rock band Paramore. He is also the older brother of Paramore's former drummer, Zac Farro.

Paramore

Farro was a founding member and lead guitarist of Paramore from the band's creation in 2004 until 2010. Additionally, he provided backing vocals and was chiefly involved in writing almost all of the band's songs alongside Hayley Williams and Taylor York. On December 18, 2010, Paramore's official website announced that Farro and his brother Zac had decided to leave the band.
