John O'Flynn

John O'Flynn (born 11 July 1982 in Cobh, County Cork) is an Irish footballer, who plays for Exeter City as a striker. O'Flynn endeared himself to Barnet fans and was been likened to club legend Giuliano Grazioli by former manager Paul Fairclough for his goalscoring ability. He had spent six years with Cork City, winning the League of Ireland and FAI Cup. He scored twice on his league debut for Cork on 5 July 2002. O'Flynn has previously played for Peterborough United. O'Flynn recently became engaged to girlfriend and former Miss Cork, Aisling Cronin. On 1 February 2010, transfer deadline day, he rejected a £100,000 move to Shrewsbury Town. On 1 July 2010, he joined Bristol City on trial, after turning down a new contract offer from Barnet. On 20 July 2010, O'Flynn left Ashton Gate after not being offered a permanent contract. He then signed for Exeter City on 23 July 2010. He has been referred to by Exeter fans as "floppy floppy gangsta mans" as a result of being skeen at kicking it into the goal.
