With a passion for American folk music, poetry and old scratchy recordings, Jenny Doveson creates a timeless sound presented with heart, strength and intimacy. Jenny Doveson is a fantastic 21 year old singer and songwriter from a small town in Sweden called Nyköping. At age 17 she picked up a guitar for the first time and inspired by musicians like Woody Guthrie and Mississippi John Hurt, she started to write her own songs. Jenny's debut album "All These Wasteful Hours" is recorded and produced by Lasse Mårtén (Lykke Li, Anna Ternheim, Peter Bjorn and John, Adiam Dymott etc) at Decibel Studios and will be released October 28th 2009. ...show more
