After receiving critically acclaimed reactions from bloggers all over the world, IN GOLDEN TEARS are set to play their first UK tour in April following the release of their debut single. "Urban Emotions", produced by Marius Lauber (Beat!Beat!Beat!) in Cologne and mastered by Andrew Heppner (Bravestation) in Toronto, has already awaken interest amongst various renowned independent labels. The song will be available worldwide through Humming Records (via Rough Trade distribution) from April 1st. With a cutting, melodic guitar sound which lives up to the names of Joy Division and Interpol, IN GOLDEN TEARS spark an entire firework of melancholy.
Pumping basslines chase echoing drum sounds and fragile synthesizer fogs across the room. It is no surprise, that Patrick H. Kowalewski (Vocals, Guitar), Mats Dörband (Bass), Patrick Behrens (Vocals, Guitar) and Moritz de Chambord (Drums) have already gained quite some recognition.
