They all grew up in a small city called Rockford, Illinois, 90 miles from Chicago. They have been making music together since junior high and writing since the 5th grade.They are true students of hip-hop, soul, R&B, and rap. A lot of their influences ranges from AL Green and Marvin Gaye, to Biggie and Tupac, to Jay-z and J.Cole. Their music can only be explained as Hoodlum Sounds or the Sounds of Hoodlum.
