1. Fibonacci were a band based in Melbourne, Australia, from early 2004 to 2006. They consisted of Troy Naumoff (Ants) on guitar, Ben Butcher (Baseball, Assassinations Collective, Jihad Against America) on guitar, Irit Rozenfeld (Cor'delle, Oblako Lodka) on bass guitar/keyboard/melodica/voice, and Jon Tjhia (Scissors for Sparrow, II) on drums/sampler. There were a couple of rules which Fibonacci loosely applied throughout their life as a band.

The resulting sound traversed genres of post-rock, noise-rock, post-punk, ambient music, faux-dub, drone, and fake jazz. Guest players included guitarists, saxophonists, cellists, and additional drummers. ...show less
