David's Lyre
David's Lyre, alias Paul Dixon (born in London, 8 August 1989), is an English singer and guitarist. He picked the name David's Lyre during his university studies in Manchester, in reference to the musical skills of the biblical King David with the lyre. Instead, his first full album Picture Of Our Youth was self-released through Bandcamp in February 2012.
Picture Of Our Youth was rated 3.5 out of 5 by musicOMH, which concluded that while it was not "a truly captivating debut, it's still intriguing nonetheless,"and 8/10 by Drowned in Sound, which described David's Lyre as "brilliant".
