Music has always been inherent throughout Maxime Firket's life under several atypical forms : Before producing high quality electronic music (Compuphonic), and being a DJ (Soultronik), he learned the rudiments of classical music since his early childhood. Educated as a violoncellist, and played in several pop-rock bands. He grew up listening to the sounds of Kraftwerk, Front 242, Depeche mode, and eventually got fascinated by the essence of Detroit's music (Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig ...) which made him start Dj'ing. In 2002, the duo Soultronik (with Fabian Staquet) was introduced to the world of electronic in Belgium where they appeared in a lot of clubs and parties. In 2003, Maxime took the next step by establishing his own music studio and began performing his own productions. In 2005, by establishing contact with Cosy Mozzy from the Dirty Dancing Record label, Maxime signed for a few EP. The tracks have already been remixed by Thugfucker (aka Mr.
Negative - mood music label, NY), Spirit Catcher, Sasse, Muskatt Nuss & Bangkok Impact. Now Compuphonic is performing live all over Belgium and in Spain (Rachedingue) and soon in France. Compuphonic has also been invited for a live on the well known national radio (Pure Fm) which often broadcasts his tracks.
