Blaak Heat Shujaa

Formed in 2008 in Paris, France, Blaak Heat Shujaa have promptly established themsleves as the 'young Turks' of European heavy psychedelia. The "surprisingly mature" trio (Perkele.it, Italy), comprised of Thomas Bellier on guitar and vocals, Tim Gacon on drums and Antoine Morel-Vulliez on bass, has developped an unmistakeably original sound. Aspiring to provoke mental introspection and spiritual trip through dreamy effects and spaghetti riffs, BHS's signature sound also pays homage to the heritage of 1990s heavy music. After a globally acclaimed 2010 debut produced by Scott Reeder (of Kyuss, Unida, Goatsnake), a full European tour with desert rock pioneers Yawning Man, and numerous shows throughout Europe with prominent stoner rock and psychedelic acts (including Dead Meadow, Karma to Burn, and Acid King), BHS are currently working on new material, furthuring their exploration of mind-expanding music forms. ...show more

The trio of "such personnality" (Rumore Magazine, Italy) continually strives to incorporate new elements from a variety of musical heritages and traditions, making way for the birth of a new genre.
