The newest sounds from Bass Science encompass this divergent world, fusing glitch hop, IDM and dub into a heady electronic blend that illuminates brainwaves and fires the dance floor into action. From filthy, floor-slapping bangers to fast-hitting funk and deep, dubby mind- benders, Bass Science has won fans worldwide as well as the support of such tastemakers as Mary Anne Hobbs and Annie Nightingale. Touring through Asia, Europe and the U.S. at both large festivals and influential club nights, In 2007 Mattb.founded MadeInGlitch, the label collective started producing successful parties throughout Tokyo,bringing international artists to Japan such as edIT (Glitch Mob), Megasoid, Mochipet.
Made In Glitch can be without a question regarded as one of the first and most influential record label dealing with bass music: over the years the label released music produced by artists such as Salva, Bass Science, Nasty Nasty, Ill Gates, Unlimited Gravity, Gladkill, Samples, DEV79. Mattb has been working in the advertising for the Music Industry since 2003 providing project management and production music for Oakley Sportwear, Mizuho Corporate Bank, The american Motorcycle Association, Yamaha, Pegeout Japan, amongst others, collaborating also with Bruce Dunlop Associates in Sydney on the award/winning Legends Are Born FIFA WORLD CUP 2006 promotional campaign for Starhub Television Asia. This very last project included music production and sound designing for a series of seven commericals and won several collaborative awards including the PROMAX ASIA BEST IDENT and BEST ANIMATION awards in 2005. During 2008/2009 Mattb worked with Square Enix on an official Final Fantasy Remix project Over the past years he has dazzled crowds at distinguished festivals and clubs from the United Kingdom's Glade Festival to Los Angeles's Low End Theory, with gigs spanning China, Japan, Europe and US and Canada along with sharing stages with STS9, Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing, Elliot Lipp, edIT, Zeds Dead, Eoto, Mochipet, Robot Koch, SI-BEGG, Richrad Devine and Hatcha.. ...show less
