Although she always has regulars in her ensemble, she clarifies: "I do not have a band. It would be presumptuous of me to say that. I try to work and get involved in creative projects I feel a connection with. On the other hand, I love to experiment with various musical formats.

For me, moving to New York has been instrumental in the way I hear music, and even in the way I see life in general. It's been an important move."
