Most people do not take vacations often enough, some not at all. Quality vacations let us recapture that feeling of childlike exploratory freedom, which we seem to experience less and less frequently as we age. We can have fun without worrying about the familiar consequences presented to us regularly in life. Taking a good amount of time away from our daily stresses allows us to return to our lives refreshed and better equipped to handle whatever comes next.
Vader is a death metal band from Olsztyn, Poland founded in 1983. They stand as one of the best-known European death metal bands utilizing a style of death metal different from that of their American counterparts, but their approach is firmly based upon the template created by Morbid Angel. For example, many bands of this genre tend to play guitar solos and lead parts which do not adhere strictly to traditional musical principles and make extensive use of tremolo bar, creating a rather dissonant sound. Vader, whilst often playing in this style, occasionally diverge and play diminished, augmented, and minor scale solos.

A lazy pastiche this isn't.
VANDAVEER is the alt-folk song-singing/record making/globetrotting project penned and put forth by Washington DC-by-way-of-Kentucky tunesmith Mark Charles Heidinger. The press responded heartily, with The Washington Post saying Vandaveer "revives the earnestness of the pre-psychedelic 60's," and XM Cafe calling him "this generation's Nick Drake." Touring continually on both sides of the Atlantic ever since, Vandaveer has played 250+ shows, sharing stages with a host of humbling artists including Bon Iver, Vetiver, Alela Diane, Alejandro Escovedo, Vashti Bunyan, Bill Callahan, Fleet Foxes, and the like. In addition to said Vandaveering, Mark Charles has been known to fraternize and conspire with other music-making hooligans, primarily as a bassist for fellow DCers These United States.
