Sam And Dave
Sam & Dave were an American soul and rhythm and blues (R&B) duo who performed together from 1961 through 1981. The tenor (higher) voice was Samuel David Moore (born Samuel David Hicks on October 12, 1935 in Winchester, Georgia), and the baritone/tenor (lower) voice was Dave Prater (May 9, 1937, Ocilla, Georgia - April 9, 1988, Sycamore, Georgia). Sam & Dave are members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and are Grammy Award and multiple gold record award winning artists. According to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Sam & Dave were the most successful soul duo, and brought the sounds of the black gospel church to pop music with their call-and-response records.
Sam And The Womp
Sam and the Womp are a British based eight piece music group who formed in 2009 and have created a unique alternative disco sound. Their music mixes traditional elements of Balkan music and Jamaican ska with modern electronic and dance elements. The band also have their own dance named, the "Womp", which is fairly idiosyncratic and uninhibited. Their music has been largely popularised by BBC Radio 1 with a heavy promotion of their single "Bom Bom".
Sam Brown (born 7 October 1964, in Stratford, London, UK) is an English Jazz and R&B singer. Her father was pop guitarist Joe Brown and her mother was a popular backing singer Vicki Brown. She appeared as singer with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and in 1977 she was a backing singer on the Small Faces' final album in the shade. Later, together with her mother as The Lillettes, she was a backing singer on Steve Marriott's Packet of Three: Live.
Sam Butera & The Witnesses
Sam Butera was the saxophonist and leader of Louis Prima's backing band during their heyday years in Las Vegas. Butera stayed on after Prima's most popular duet partner & wife Keely Smith left and Butera continued to play with him through the 1960's until Prima's death in the mid 1970's. Butera lead an active life and continued to perform regularly in Las Vegas and on tour until age made nightly forays less feasible a few years before his death at age 81 in June of 2009..
Samuel Cooke (born January 22, 1931 in Clarksdale, Mississippi; died December 11, 1964 in Los Angeles, California) was a popular and influential American gospel, R&B, soul and pop singer-songwriter and entrepreneur recognized as one of the true founders of soul music. Often referred to as The King of Soul, Cooke had 29 Top 40 hits in the U.S. between 1957 and 1964 including major hits You Send Me, A Change Is Gonna Come, Chain Gang and Wonderful World. Cooke was also among the first modern black performers and composers to attend to the business side of his musical career, he founded both a record label and a publishing company as an extension of his careers as a singer and composer.

Sam Roberts is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter, based in Montreal, Quebec. His 2001 debut release, The Inhuman Condition became one of the bestselling independent releases in Quebec and Canadian music history. Born in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, he attended Loyola High School and McGill University. Roberts formed the band William in 1993.

Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs
Sam the Sham is the stage name of rock 'n' roll singer Domingo "Sam" Samudio from Dallas, Texas. Sam the Sham would later be known for his campy onstage attire of robe and turban (inspiring one of the great tribute album names, Norton Records' 1994 release Turban Renewal) and hauling his equipment around in a 1952, Packard hearse complete with maroon velvet curtains. Samudio made his singing debut while still in second grade, representing his school in a live radio broadcast. Later, he took up guitar and formed a high school group with some friends, one of whom was Trini Lopez.

Samael are a long-running Swiss black metal band formed in 1987 in Sion, Switzerland. Although much of their music from the mid-1990s onwards has incorporated electronic sounds which would best define their genre as industrial metal, they are an early 2nd Wave black metal band and an innovator for post-black metal styles. Their first demos presented a slow, doomy style of thrash metal with raw vocals, similar to that of Celtic Frost. Some of the songs would be included on Worship Him (1991) and Blood Ritual (1992).
Samantha Karen "Sam" Fox (born April 15, 1966 in Mile End, London, England) is a former English glamour model and singer. In the mid-1980s, she started a successful singing career, working with notable music producers such as Stock Aitken Waterman and Full Force. Her debut single, "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)", released when she was just 20 years old, made the Top 10 in England and topped the charts in many countries. So far, Fox has sold over 30 million records worldwide.
