John David Jackson (born November 18, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York), better known by his stage name Fabolous, is a Grammy award nominated American rapper, actor and designer signed to Def Jam Records. He released his debut album, Ghetto Fabolous in 2001 and has since released 2003's Street Dreams, 2004's Real Talk and 2007's From Nothin' To Somethin', all of which have collectively sold over four million copies in the United States. His fourth studio album, Loso's Way, was released in July of 2009 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It takes talent to make the struggle to succeed seem effortless, but that is the gift that separates artists like Brooklyn's John Jackson, aka Fabolous, from the everyday MC.

Faces
There are more than one act with this name: 1) Faces were an early 1970s rock band formed in 1969 from the remaining members of Small Faces after Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie; new members Ron Wood (guitar) and Rod Stewart (vocals) (both from The Jeff Beck Group) joined Ronnie Lane (bass), Ian McLagan (keyboards) and Kenny Jones, (drums). The name "the Faces" refers to well known people about town, and the band's previous incarnation as the Small Faces also referred to the diminutive stature of the band members. With the addition of Rod Stewart (5'8") and Ron Wood (5'9") the band dropped the "small" but continued as the Faces. However their first album was actually released in the U.S.

Fad Gadget
Fad Gadget was the pseudonym used by British musician, synthesizer pioneer, and performance artist Frank Tovey - an influential electronic music/New Wave artist throughout his career- from 1979 until 1984. Tovey began his musical career after studying performance art at Leeds Polytechnic, but started recording upon his move back to his native London, UK. The songs of his early career (under the pseudonym) all feature synthesizers plus, sometimes, machine sounds like that of an electric razor or an electric drill. Almost all of his songs create a dark, mystical atmosphere, with Gadget's voice hovering monotonously over then unheard of, groundbreaking and still brilliant synthesizer sound effects.

Fair To Midland
Fair to Midland are a progressive rock band formed in Sulphur Springs, Texas in 1998. Anyone who thinks the phrase "it's all been done before" carries real weight clearly has yet to encounter Fair to Midland. Dark, heavy, moving, cryptic, progressive art rock collides with flourishes of old-school country, Americana and Delta Blues in their sound. These Lonestar boys genre-defying and boundary obliterating ocean of sound righteously upends the old phrase "fair to middling" from which their Texas-ified moniker was drawn.

Fairground Attraction
Fairground Attraction was a Scottish acoustic pop group, best-known for its hit single "Perfect", and for helping to launch the career of its lead singer, Eddi Reader. After the usual career-beginning playing in local clubs and pubs, in 1987 Fairground Attraction were signed to RCA, and released their first single, "Perfect", in April 1988. It was an immediate success, reaching number one on the UK singles chart. Their album The First Of A Million Kisses was a characteristic blend of folk, jazz, country, and cajun elements (all but one of its songs being written by Mark Nevin).

Fairmont
There are two artists who use this name: 1) Fairmont is an alter-ego of roving techno producer Jake Fairley of Toronto, Canada. Fairmont is his softer, more melodic and occasionally vocal electronica project. He has released singles and albums through Border Community (including the warm and fuzzy 'Coloured In Memory' in 2007) and Traum Schallplatten amongst others, as well as coming together with fellow outsider artists and Berlin-best-friends Metope and Pan/Tone to form the Beachcoma record label. He is also well known for his all-analogue live performances, wedging his mumbled vocals and burbling machines into the confines of the DJ booth, or spreading them across the grandeur of a stage, as the situation befits.

Fairport Convention
Fairport Convention is often credited with being the first English folk rock band. Formed in 1967, Fairport rapidly developed from playing cover versions of American 'west coast' music to an individual style which melded rock music with traditional english folk tunes and songs. Like their peers The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and Jefferson Airplane they were blessed with several considerable individual talents and produced music that -at least initially- was eclectic, as well as exploratory. This side of the band may best be heard on Heyday, a collection of tracks broadcast by the BBC.

Faith Evans
Faith Renée Evans (born June 10, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, actress and author. Born in Coral Gables, Florida and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Evans moved to Los Angeles in 1993 for a career in music business. After working as a backing vocalist for Al B. Sure, she became the first female artist to be signed to Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment label in 1994, on which she released three platinum-certified studio albums between the years of 1995 and 2001.[1] In 2003, she left the label to sign with Capitol Records.[2] Next to her recording career, Evans is widely known as the widow of New York rapper Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G." Wallace, whom she married in 1994 two months after meeting at a photoshoot.[3] The turbulent marriage led to Evans' involvement in the East Coast-West Coast hip hop feud, dominating the rap scene at the time, and ended with Wallace's murder in a yet-unsolved drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in March 1997.[4] A 1997 tribute single featuring Puff Daddy and 112, entitled "I'll Be Missing You," became Evans' biggest-selling hit to date and won her a Grammy Award in 1998.[2] Also an avocational actress and writer, Evans made her big screen debut in the 2000 musical drama Turn It Up by Robert Adetuyi.
