          • Daft Punk

            Daft Punk is a multi Grammy Award-winning electronic music duo formed in 1994 in Paris, France, and consisting of French musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (born 8 February 1974) and Thomas Bangalter (born 3 January 1975). The band is considered one of the most successful electronic music collaborations of all time, both in album sales and in critical acclaim. Daft Punk reached significant popularity in the late 90s house movement in France, along with other artists such as Air, Cassius, and Dimitri from Paris. Daft Punk are credited with producing songs that were considered essential in the French house scene.

          • "Weird Al" Yankovic

            Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic (born October 23, 1959 in Downey, California) is an American singer-songwriter, music producer, actor, comedian, satirist, accordian player and kazooist. Yankovic is known in particular for his humorous songs that make light of popular culture and that often parody specific songs by contemporary musical acts. Since his first-aired song parody in 1976, he has sold more than 12 million albums--more than any other comedy act in history--recorded more than 150 parody and original songs, and has performed more than 1,000 live shows.His works have earned him three Grammy Awards among nine nominations, four gold records, and six platinum records in the United States. Yankovic's first top ten Billboard album (Straight Outta Lynwood) and single ("White & Nerdy") were both released in 2006, nearly three decades into his career.

          • 'Til Tuesday

            After The break up of The Young Snakes, 'Til Tuesday,an American new wave band, was formed in Boston in 1982. Its original lineup was bassist/vocalist Aimee Mann, guitarist/vocalist Robert Holmes, keyboardist Joey Pesce, and drummer Michael Hausman. The group first gained fame six months after its formation when it won radio station WBCN's battle of the bands competition in 1983. Their original composition "Love In A Vacuum" (credited to all members of the group) received a fair amount of airplay on the station, and the group was eventually signed to Epic Records.

            *NSYNC was an American pop boy band that is widely regarded as one of the most successful pop acts of the late '90s and early 2000s, selling over 56 million records worldwide. Formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995, the group consists of Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin Timberlake. The band released three regular studio albums, *NSYNC in 1998, No Strings Attached in 2000 and Celebrity in 2001 - as well as the full length Christmas album Home For Christmas in 1998. The group went on an extended hiatus in spring 2002, and only Timberlake and Chasez have gone on to release solo albums..

            Formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, CA, +44 was a band from two blink-182 members Mark Hoppus (Bass Guitar/Vocals) and Travis Barker (Drums/Keyboards), who has also played in a variety of musical projects including The Aquabats, Box Car Racer, and Transplants. +44 also featured Shane Gallagher (Lead Guitar), from The Nervous Return, and Craig Fairbaugh (Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals), from Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, The Forgotten, and Mercy Killers. It also once featured Carol Heller (Guitar/Backing Vocals), formerly of Get the Girl, but she later left the band to start a family. She is heard as backup vocalist in 3 of the tracks on the first album.

            ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead is an indie rock band which formed in 1994 in Austin, Texas, United States. The band currently consists of Conrad Keely (vocals, guitar, drums), Jason Reece (vocals, guitar, drums), Autry Fulbright II (bass) and Jamie Miller (drums, guitar). As of 2011, the band has released seven albums: "...And You Knows by the Trail of Dead" (1998), "Madonna" (1999), "Source Tags & Codes" (2002), Worlds Apart (2005), "So Divided" (2006), "The Century of Self" (2009) and "Tao of the Dead" (2011). The band is best known for their heavy yet anthemic music and their tendency to destroy their equipment at the end of their performances (a rock and roll tradition usually associated with The Who).

            10,000 Maniacs is an alternative rock band, formed in 1981 in Jamestown, New York, that has been active with various line-ups since that time. Their best known member is Natalie Merchant, who left the band in 1993 to pursue a solo career. 10,000 Maniacs have gone through a variety of musicians throughout the history of the band. Here is a partial list of the past, present, and touring musicians: Jerry Augustyniak - Jerry has been the drummer of 10,000 Maniacs since 1983.

            10cc are an English art rock and pop band. Initially comprising four musicians - Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Creme - who had written and recorded together for some three years, before assuming the "10cc" name in 1972 - two strong song-writing teams, injected sharp wit to lyrically-dextrous songs. Stewart and Gouldman were straight pop-song-writers, who created the band's most accessible songs; Godley and Creme were the experimental half of 10cc, featuring an Art School sensibility and cinematic writing. All are skilled multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, writers, and producers, and each could perform convincingly as lead singers, leading to favourable comparisons with The Beatles.

            112 (pronounced "One-TWELVE") is an American R&B quartet from Atlanta, Georgia. They are best known for hit singles such as "Anywhere" and "Dance With Me", and for winning a Grammy for their collaboration "I'll Be Missing You" with Puff Daddy and Faith Evans. Formerly artists for Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records, the group left Bad Boy and signed to the Def Soul roster in the early 2000s.

          • 12 Stones

            12 Stones is a post-grunge band that formed in 2000 in Mandeville, Louisiana, a suburb north of New Orleans. The first line-up consisted of Paul McCoy (vocals), Kevin Dorr (bass), Eric Weaver (guitar), Stephen Poff (guitar/vocals) who left to finish One Like Son's Goodbye and Patrick Quave (drums) who was later replaced by Aaron Gainer. After performing no more than 12 live shows, the band recorded a demo and went to New York City where they performed at an industry showcase, where the band encountered some minor difficulties,:"Here we are, our first few hours in New York City," McCoy recalls, "and Kevin is puking in the bathroom and I'm chasing some guy who stole my wallet just a few hours before we play the showcase. It was crazy."After that, the band was signed up by Wind-Up Records.
