19-23 April 2010 is Alternative Fashion Week in London. Alternative Fashion Week features the collections of independent designers that are often recent fashion school graduates trying to establish their fashion labels. More than 70 designers from across the world will be showing. The event is also an opportunity for new models to gain experience taking to the catwalk. A bit less corporate than the shows sponsored twice a year by the BFC, these fashions tend to be edgy, experimental, a bit rock ‘n’ roll. Therefore, this playlist is for all of the hot models, edgy designers, fashion dandies and generally beautiful people that will be under the tent.
